I’m currently a Research Fellow in the Philosophy Department at Uppsala University. My research focuses primarily on issues in epistemology (traditional, social, as well as moral) and metaphysics.

Before coming to Uppsala, I completed my PhD on the St Andrews/Stirling Joint Programme where I was a member of the Arché Research Centre. I was supervised by Patrick Greenough and Crispin Wright.

Recently I have been thinking and writing about the following questions: what justifies belief? Is there only one way for a belief to be justified or are there many? How do moral beliefs fit into our epistemic theorising? What is the connection between epistemology and the legal standard of proof? How should we respond to peer disagreement in different domains of inquiry?
